About

I've spent the last six years inside state government and healthcare IT departments, doing the unglamorous but genuinely useful work: building Power Apps that replace spreadsheet chains, writing Power Automate flows so nobody has to copy-paste between systems, and helping non-technical teams understand the Microsoft 365 tools they're already paying for.

At the Tennessee Department of Transportation, that meant growing weekly training attendance by 60%, not through mandates, but by making the content genuinely worth showing up for and building a self-paced library people wanted to come back to. At Acadia Healthcare, it meant sitting with executives to figure out what they actually needed from a report, then automating the parts nobody wanted to do by hand.

I'm currently finishing an accelerated B.S./M.S. in IT Management at Western Governors University, and I hold CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications. Somewhere along the way I also picked up a consulting gig helping debug an AI-adjacent chatbot, which is the direction I'd like to keep leaning.

  • Drove a 60% increase in statewide Weekly Technology Training attendance (18 to 32 participants) through targeted outreach, content strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Architected custom Power Apps and Power Automate flows to automate internal Training & Development (T&D) operations, eliminating manual data entry and integrating Power BI dashboards for real-time reporting.
  • Built the "Byte-Sized Learning" digital library — 50+ animated technical lessons and reference guides using Vyond Studios, enabling self-paced upskilling across the organization.
  • Designed and launched the Technology Champions and Specialty Badges programs; engineered automated badge distribution logic using Power FX to gamify Microsoft 365 proficiency.
  • Maintained and optimized the statewide Training & Development SharePoint site, ensuring high availability of learning resources for thousands of state employees.
